Nicholas Hastings MA(Cambridge), PhD(Birmingham), FIEAust, MACS
Nicholas Anthony John Hastings is a director and principal consultant for Albany Interactive Pty Ltd. He was formerly Professor of Maintenance Engineering at Queensland University of Technology (1994 – 2001) and Professor of Operations Research at Monash University (1977-1994). His early career was in the British Army in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. He has extensive experience in projects in mining, electricity supply, manufacturing and other asset intensive industries.
AWARD
In 2006 Dr. Hastings was awarded the Medal of the Maintenance Engineering Society of Australia. The citation reads: “Dr Hastings…has achieved both a National and an International reputation for the practice of Asset Management and Maintenance Engineering …”
